Sustainability at SC Styling

We at SC are committed to being as sustainable as possible. We only have one planet, so it should be easy to shop and consume sensibly.

Here are some of the different ways we work towards achieving this.

Transport

One of the most important actions we can take is to reduce emissions from our transport. At the company, we both receive and send hundreds of parcels every day, and how we choose to work with them has a big impact. That's why we work with a major ISO 14001-certified logistics operator. This means that they take responsibility by fulfilling several environmental requirements, and that they actively work to reduce their environmental impact.

Fossil-free fuel

The same logistics operator aims to be 100% fossil-free by 2025. This will be achieved through a rapid transition to electric vehicles, which means that they will be able to reach 6.1 million people via fossil-free transport.

In 2022, SC Styling has begun the work of replacing all of the company's cars with electric or hybrid cars.

Packaging

When it comes to packaging, our main supplier is also certified according to ISO 14001. We choose to use FSC-certified products as much as possible, which means that the paper does not cause unnecessary deforestation.

We also work actively to reduce our packaging waste. This is done by reusing packaging that is, for example, converted into filler material. In this way, we give the packaging additional value, and reduce the number of transports of other packing and filling materials to us. We also work to pack our shipments as space-efficiently as possible, thereby also reducing the number of transports.

Sustainable consumption

Our ambition is also to present all products with as detailed and accurate product descriptions and images as possible to minimise the number of returns.

We also want to promote suppliers and partners who work for a more sustainable product range, or who in other ways contribute to more sustainable consumption.
